Hello and thanks for visiting.
It's hard for me to believe this but I've been a Buc for almost 30 years.
I grew up in Norwood, graduated from the high school in '91, and have taught Social Studies in room 119 for the last 15 years.
I was lucky enough to take over Psychology and Sociology after my friend, mentor, and 9th grade history teacher, Andy Costanzo, retired; it's a great subject for high school and there isn't anything else I'd rather teach.
Back in 1999, I started the Boys Lacrosse team and was the head coach for the next decade.
In 2001, I started AP Psychology and, through the daily rigor of the course, have met and taught some of the best students to ever go through Interboro. I always tell ap psychers that if I had half the brains they have while I was in high school, I'd be so filthy rich by now I'd buy South Avenue a new turf field. Maybe one of them will one day.
I did get my act together, eventually, and ended up getting a Masters degree from University of Pennsylvania.
Who woulda thunk it?!?
If you get a chance check out the Social Studies Mission Statement on the department's home page. We spent a lot of time writing it and it's downright special. There's always a copy hanging in my room.
If you have any questions about Psych, Soc, AP Psych, or anything else, shoot an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
Thanks for reading.
